PROJECT I-10 Hassayampa Valley Roadway Study A building boom fueled by population growth has made Phoenix one of the fastest growing American cities. Growth pressures in metropolitan Phoenix are squeezing the transportation system from all sides. This study is an attempt to get out in front of the growth in a region with huge growth potential. The study will not only establish the framework for a future transportation system, but also provide feedback to local land use planners on how alternative development scenarios could be part of the regional transportation solution.
