Transportation As the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Maricopa region, MAG plans and finances the regional transportation system. Human Services MAG is responsible for developing a human services plan to distribute funding and implement programs for homelessness, domestic violence and youth. Information Services The Information Services Division of MAG manages the Geographic Information Systems (GIS), socioeconomic data collection and maintenance, socioeconomic modeling, telecommunications and MAG Information Center (MAGIC) programs. Environmental Programs MAG helps ensure a clean environment in the region by meeting federal and state requirements for clean air, water, and solid waste management. Communications The Communications Division helps to keep the public informed on regional issues and MAG inititives. Outreach includes public participation, outreach to minority communities and communication through a variety of media. Administration Our administrative services division provides support for the many MAG programs and projects. Included are Office Support and Fiscal Services.
